Ing. Peter Holly
Peter is a creative designer with many years of experience
in civil engineering.
He is a graduate of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
He has worked with the con-tura Architekten + Ingenieure GmbH in Berlin
on several successful home and multifunctional home projects.
He gained a sense of precision, design and direction through work in Germany,
United States of America, New Zealand and Australia.
My Design Philosophy.

Timeless Design.
Classic design is achieved through simplicity and strength of concept.
In other words, a single idea executed beautifully with a dedication
to the details.
This is a simple and functional architecture.
A keen eye for proportion helps too.

Honest materials.
I like a minimal palette of natural, honest materials.
Honest materials are like honest people: exactly what they appear to be, never otherwise.
I favour timber, concrete, cork, steel and natural textiles.

Setting and Context.
From the traditional Slovak cottage, to the groundbreaking modernist style.
All this is the best architecture, conscious of local climate and the environment.
Relationship to other buildings and the natural environment as a whole.
